This vacancy is for a Shipment Admin Apprentice based in Samlesbury. The successful applicant will have the opportunity to undertake valuable work experience whilst gaining on the job qualifications.

The general administration duties within this role may include:
To learn all aspect of the shipping industry, including booking shipments, billing customers, customs clearances, start to end customer journey, updating the customer at every step.
- Communication with customers

- Helping where needed; one team
The two individuals will be our shipping apprentices and if successfully a role will be made permeant after their apprenticeship.
Requirements and prospects
- Good communication skills both verbal and written
- Good time-keeping skills and attendance
- The ability to work as an individual as well as part of a team and be respectful to team members at all times
- Be able to use their own initiative
A minimum of 3 GCSEs at grades C/4 or above (or equivalent) including English or prior experience in business or administration role (or equivalent).

You can go on to specialise in a particular field and into management. You will find people who started in administration working in all professional areas and at all levels.
