About the employer

Hi, I am Mandeep and I live in Langley Green with my husband and two cheeky boys, born 2012 and 2017. I am a fully Ofsted registered Childminder who has recently received a rating of GOOD. I am able to offer 15 hours of government funded childcare for 2 year olds, as well as 15-30 hours of government funded childcare for 3-4 year olds.
We have a separate extension to the house which is where the main play room is, filled with lots of toys, a soft play area for little ones, a book corner and access to an enclosed garden area where there is now a second play room which we are using as a sensory room as well, filled with lights, a projector, bubble machine and much more! All of this space allows for enough room for the children to dance around and carry out both planned activities and child led play. We regularly use our lovely garden and enjoy getting outside everyday, as we are lucky to be just a two minute walk from the local park.

For as long as I can remember I have always loved working and being around children, watching them learning new things and grow into amazing individuals. I have been in the childcare industry since 2014, working in both a nursery and home setting.

Being a mother, I feel that I have a good understanding of what a parent would want when leaving their child in someone else's care and we ensure that the day is filled with a variety of activities as well as fun enjoyable outings. Working alongside another experience childcare assistant means we are able to give the children the attention they need. I have always worked alongside someone who also has experience in the childcare industry, as when it comes to planning activities and making the environment a fun and friendly one it always helps having more ideas. I’m not a childminder looking to pass my time while my kids grow up, I’m a childminder looking to give all the children in my care the best I can give! Providing them with the best resources and a fun loving environment to grow and learn in. Buttercups has grown from strength to strength with now 3 of us working together.

We regularly venture out to various locations, including the local park and newly opened Adventure Playground, as well as the local library, Along with special outings to the farm or even the local soft play centre.

We look forward to hearing from you with regards to your childcare needs and aim to accommodate as best we can.
