We are looking for an enthusiastic apprentice chef to join our team, if you have a passion for cooking and want to turn that into a career then we will guide you through your apprenticeship.

Your daily duties will be to:

  • Set up the kitchen
  • Prepare food - Hot and cold meals on offer
  • Complete all appropriate paperwork
  • Follow food and hygiene safety rules
  • Dealing with deliveries and stock rotation
  • Assist head chef when needed
  • Clean down the kitchen ready for the next day

As a commis chef you will be trained between various chefs and will be willing to rotate throughout the kitchen to learn various roles and skills.

Things to consider

  • The Apprentice Commis Chef will be expected to work weekends on a rota
  • There will be some late working as is expected in the hospitality industry
  • Apprentices are paid for their normal working hours and training which is part of their apprenticeship
  • There is a live-in option for the right candidate
