Duties will include:

  • Receiving and prioritising enquiries
  • Meeting deadlines
  • Creating estimates and production of supporting documentation including drawings
  • Communicate with suppliers and clients as well as at all levels within the company
  • Through in-house training, also learn to design fire and security systems in accordance with the latest industry standards

Requirements and prospects

Desired skills

You have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

You will need to have strong computer skills and although you may not have experience of specific computer packages you are keen to learn new systems.

Personal qualities

Thriving under pressure and at meeting deadlines you work in an efficient and organised manner.

You are highly motivated with a good work ethic and excellent attention to detail.  You are able to work as part of a team in addition to using your initiative to achieve results. 

Desired qualifications

GCSEs at grades C/4 or above (or equivalent) in maths and English.

Future prospects

Subject to the successful completion of your apprenticeship you may be offered a permanent position with the company.
