Main responsibilities: 

  • Answer calls on the Service Desk
  • Act as 1st line technical support to the companies leisure sites
  • System configuration support for the Legend Leisure Management system, Bleep EPOS, CAP2 swimming course software and Spektrix ticketing system
  • Maintenance of users, ensuring correct access is granted
  • Maintenance of purchase items, including price changes, new items etc.
  • Configuration of leisure classes and bookings
  • Assisting with system updates and implementing new features
  • Maintain the security and integrity of sensitive data
  • Providing IT support and advice to sites over the telephone and email
  • Working remotely to support user software on PC's and tablets

Entry requirements:

You need to have 5 GCSE’s:

  • Maths and English at grades D or above (or equivalent)
  • 3x GCSE’s grade A-C in any other subject

You must not already have a qualification in a similar subject at the same level, or higher level than this apprenticeship.

Approximately 11% of training takes place in the QA learning centre classroom. 9% is done in the workplace, through online training, face-to-face meetings with your QA Technical Skills Coach, or developing your portfolio. The remaining time will be spent on your workplace activity.
