Key responsibilities will include:

  • To work with Plant Engineers to provide a general maintenance engineering service to manufacturing and support areas
  • To work with Plant Engineers to provide planned and emergency maintenance support
  • Breakdown resolution
  • Fault finding
  • Planned and preventative maintenance for site utilities
  • To work with Plant Engineers to ensure that all engineering activities are carried out to the necessary standard complying with Safety, GMP and company requirements
  • To punctually attend college and successfully complete allocated courses
  • To successfully complete BTEC / NVQ qualifications
  • To work with Module Technicians to gain experience within the value streams

  • Be able to demonstrate some engineering experience
  • Be able to demonstrate an aptitude to understand engineering systems

  • Competent with PC tools

  • Ability to work within a highly regulated environment under supervision
  • Ability to understand engineering systems under supervision
  • Ability to work on Control systems (EIC) under supervision

Desired qualifications

  • Applicants must have a level 2 Engineering qualification (or equivalent).
  • GCSEs at grades A*-C/9-4 (or equivalent) in maths and English
