Apprentice Nursery Nurse MARYVALE NURSERIES LTD
Maryvale Nurseries are looking for an Apprentice Nursery Nurse to join their team. You will work towards a Level 2 Early Years Practitioner apprenticeship standard.

Apprentices are paid for their normal working hours and training that's part of their apprenticeship (usually one day per week).
Total hours per week: 36.00

Level 2 (GCSE)
Duties will include:
- You will be actively involved in the day to day activities and care of young children from the ages of 6 months - 5 years
- You will be involved in play activities, including outdoor play with the young children
- Planning activities
- Doing risk assessments
- Communicating with children and parents
Requirements and prospects
- Good communication skills
No formal qualifications are required but must have basic literacy and numeracy skills.
Can progress onto Level 3 Childcare or team leading once Level 2 has been achieved.
Things to consider
You will be on your feet all day.

Level 2 Early Years Practitioner apprenticeship standard, which includes:
- Level 1/2 Functional Skills in maths and English (if required)
- End-Point Assessment (EPA)
Full training will be given in-house and candidates will also attend a training centre based in Liverpool every 2 weeks in order to cover the technical side of the qualification.
