The Apprenticeship role will lead to permanent employment as Kitchen Team Member of similar working hours and an increase in hourly wage. There would be no reason this Apprentice could not progress to Assistant Kitchen Manager within 12 months of completing the Apprenticeship, due to our expansion plans.

Things to consider

Always evening and weekend hours (ie anti-social!). Family ran business so sometimes emotions run high between family members! Bad language occassionally(!) used in high pressured kitchen environment. Music played quite loud to lift energy at busy times. Potential interaction with Deliveroo drivers, but rarely general public. This is not a customer facing role. Working with and preparing raw meats (ie cutting through ribs) - may not sit well with a vegetarian/vegan. Hot working environment during Summer months.

Any GCSE, A Level or other qualifications in food or hospitality related subjects would be an advantage, but not essential. Current business plan is to open 5 Kitchens across Worcestershire/Warwickshire in 5 years, so potential for promotion for employees who join us in Year 1 is huge.ications in food or hospitality related subjects would be an advantage, but not essential. About the employer

Mutiny Kitchens (Redditch) are a food delivery service operating exclusively through Deliveroo. This family run business operates from a large commercial kitchen based in Lakeside, Redditch. We are the 'dark kitchen' behind 5 of the Top 7 highest rated restaurants on Deliveroo in our area. We launched our business in March and have since gone from strength to strength surpassing all sales targets and customer expecations. Our food is prepared and presented to restaurant quality standard and delivered to the customer in time-frames which are gold standard for our industry. We have gone from 5 staff to 12 staff within the space of 3 months and now require more evening/weekend staff to help achieve our plans of launching a further 3 brands before the end of July.

We operate a friendly working kitchen environment for our staff - we're a fairly relaxed bunch - we have music on, have some banter, etc but we do ask that all staff are busy doing something at all times, be mindful of hygiene regulations with everything they do, and be able to step up to a 'second gear' where needed and be focussed during busy peak time evening and weekend service.
