Your duties and responsibilities will include:

  • To contribute to providing high quality childcare and education appropriate to the age and stage of development of the children
  • To maintain a safe, secure and caring environment
  • You will perform an important role caring for children, maintaining a high-quality, stimulating learning environment
  • With support from the Room Leader you will learn hands on how to be creative and reflective in your day to day practice
  • You will implement new ideas, and ensure all daily routines are adhered to
  • Applicants must be prepared to work with all ages, attend regular staff meetings and training days
  • In return, the successful applicant will have the opportunity to be trained and supported by research led practitioners and will have the opportunity to be exposed to some of the sectors leading childcare professionals

Alongside these responsibilities you will be completing all academic aspects of the apprenticeship.
