Duties to include:

  • To be involved in the design of automatic fire sprinkler systems, which will involve using an AutoCAD drawing package to produce drawings to applicable British and US standards
  • Understand national and industry health and safety, standards and legislation and those relevant to the specific disciplines, as appropriate
  • Work in accordance with company management systems, policies and procedures
  • Employ the appropriate use of computer based technology
  • Review and interpret technical information and requirements
  • Identify inaccuracies or discrepancies in drawings and specifications
  • Identify factors that affect designs
  • Evaluate designs to determine the most effective solution
  • Check completed drawing
  • Communicate and co-ordinate design options with stakeholders, colleagues and clients

Full training will be provided by the company with day release to be carried out at OTC.
