Duties will include: 

  • Warehouse duties checking stock control and match orders ready for despatch
  • Picking goods
  • Assemble and pack items for despatch also putting on postage / courier labels for parcels to be shipped
  • Keeping area's tidy and monitoring stocks / assembling product to keep in stock

Any machines used by apprentices will be supervised and receive correct training where needed.

About the employer

Chatsworth UK Ltd is a manufacture of Porcelain door furniture, we also have several smaller companies all under the same building Bywell Springs & Pressings which is a spring business for this we have recently purchased a new machine which we will mean taking on additional staff, Formet Engineering which is a sheet fabrication business for this we have also purchased two new machines and will also require additional staff, we also have another little company called College Engineering where we supply various metal products to model engineers
