Some of your key objectives will include:

  • Generating sales leads for the Sales Team
  • Achieving performance targets
  • Following up business opportunities and tasks
  • Supporting Account and Sales Managers with ongoing projects

Additionally, your areas of responsibility will include:

  • Making calls, sending emails and messages on LinkedIn to customers
  • Introducing the company and adding customers to a booking system
  • Ensuring the leads you generate are followed up by the Sales Team
  • Providing information around the company, products and services to support sales
  • Producing and circulating reports

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office software such as Word, Outlook and Excel
  • Experience of working in a sales environment or an understanding of IT would be beneficial to your application
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience in an IT sales environment would also be highly desirable

Has at least a 4 (equivalent of a C grade) in maths and English GCSE or equivalent.

Future prospects

Once you’ve completed your apprenticeship, it is highly likely that you’ll be able to join Global Knowledge on a full-time basis. You’ll have a starting basic salary of £20,000 per annum – if you work hard and hit your targets, you’ll be able to earn £50,000+ within three years of completing your apprenticeship.
