About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity to join well known and established business. The position will involve dealing with customers and suppliers daily. You will be a key point of contacts for key internal and external stakeholders and manage the whole ordering process from initial enquiry to completion. You will be organising fulfilment and distribution of parts and dealing with a wide range of other administrative tasks.
This a great opportunity for someone interested in a diverse and varied role within a small business environment.

Requirements and prospects
- Good customer service qualities with a can-do attitude
- Good business organisational skills
- Motivated and reliable team player
- An interest in classic cars would be desirable
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Willingness to learn
GCSE or equivalents in English and maths (at grade 4/C or above).
As with any apprenticeship opportunity – if you prove yourself to be a valuable member of the team there is a strong chance of a permanent post within the business.

About the employer
The Alvis Car Company and its sister company Red Triangle are involved in the manufacture to special order, a limited number of famous Alvis models, and the restoration of period Alvis cars. The new cars are faithful to the original design and by using bespoke Works Drawings from the period, retaining all their traditional characters and quality yet remaining emission compliant. Workshops service and restore around 200 Alvis cars each year dating from 1920 to 1966 and as the only manufacturer of original Alvis components both companies supply parts to Alvis owners worldwide.
