Main duties include (but not limited to):

  • Delivering essential daily care to elderly people
  • Assisting service users with personal care tasks, such as washing, dressing, eating and toileting
  • Managing light housekeeping tasks, such as dusting, vacuuming and changing bed linens
  • Assisting in the safe lifting, transferring, repositioning and movement of service users
  • Providing service users with companionship support, enabling their daily activities and positively impacting their wellbeing

You will be providing care for service users with a range of health conditions including:

  • Dementia
  • Physical disabilities
  • Sensory impairments
  • Substance misuse problems
  • Disorder or injuries
