Working as required to assist the on-site Carpenters but depending on the phase of the build you may be asked to work with the Roofers, Landscapers, Bricklayer, Electrician, Plumber, Painters and other qualified and skilled trades people.

You will learn all aspect of carpentry from setting out and building roof joists to fitting kitchen cupboards and making bespoke units for customers.

Duties will include but not be exclusive to:

  • Learning first and second fix carpentry
  • Fitting kitchens
  • Laying wooden flooring
  • Fitting bathroom cabinets
  • Roof works including joists, measuring out for windows etc. Loading skips
  • Keeping the site tidy and safe
  • Assisting measuring
  • Drilling and fixing
  • Digging, lifting and carrying

You will be honest, reliable, trustworthy and polite as you may be in contact with customers - customers focus is of high importance to us.
