Duties will include:

  • Ensure visitors, deliveries, telephone calls, incoming and outgoing mail is managed effectively
  • Accurately record telephone messages to college recipients
  • Promote Health & Safety at work
  • Promote people's equality, diversity, and rights
  • Assist in helping the college offer a professional reception service
  • Receive and distribute post and assist with outgoing post
  • Be the main point of contact in the college reception
  • Arrange booking rooms for meetings, providing necessary equipment, and making arrangements for refreshments
  • Record daily learner attendance on the college's system
  • Order resources, process deliveries and distribute goods
  • Escort prospective learners on college tours
  • Carry out other clerical and administrative tasks as requested, including taking minutes in meetings
