The main duties for this apprenticeship role are:

  • Work within the document control department including managing excel and word documents and submittal of project documents in a timely fashion
  • Work within purchasing department for purchasing correct components with correct supplier pricing and delivery schedules
  • CAD work including modifying drawings, creating drawings and solving technical issues
  • Understand and assist in sales and the quotation processes
  • Understand the assembly requirements within the manufacturing department
  • To undertake additional duties in line with experience and training

This is a four year apprenticeship resulting in a Level 3 Engineering Technician Apprenticeship qualification. 

The apprentice will be required to attend college 3 days per week for the initial 18 months, followed by one day per week for the remainder of the training period.  Training will include the following elements:
