You will be trained in all aspects of commercial and domestic grounds maintenance.

We are looking for an Apprentice Gardener to help build business and fulfil customer’s gardening needs. You will train one day a week at Shipley College in Horticulture.

Maintenance duties will include:

  • Grass cutting
  • Strimming
  • Hedge trimming
  • Digging over
  • Weeding
  • Planting
  • Turfing
  • Gritting
  • Leaf clearing

Gardening is a very manual job, so you should be prepared for physical labour. You should be ready to work in any weather: sunshine, rain or even snow.
