Apprentice Business Administrator ARC LANCASTER LIMITED
To provide administrative support to all functions of the business, with a particular focus on the areas of purchasing, logistics and production. The candidate will also get the opportunity to work across a broad range of roles and activities and gain a wealth of experience and understanding of how a business operates during the apprenticeship.

We are looking for an office administration apprentice to join the team and support our team by providing efficient and professional administrative support, such as:
- Answering and transferring calls
- Keeping filing up to date
- Responding to emails
- Producing delivery notes and purchase orders when needed
In addition, this role will develop into providing operational support to the business. This will also involve, but is not limited to:
- Collecting production data and inputting it onto spreadsheets
- Producing reports
- Liaising with production staff and customers.
- Customer service

The correct candidate will be a motivated self-starter, who is keen to learn and develop new skills. We are looking for a candidate who is keen to work hard and enjoys the challenge of working in a busy environment.
GCSEs at grades A*-C/9-4 (or equivalent) in maths and English.
Following successful completion of the apprenticeship, we would be open to the candidate continuing into full-time employment or progressing onto a higher-level apprenticeship. As far as reasonably possible.
Things to consider
Initially this would be national minimum wage for apprentices. However, we will continually review, and increase pay with increased skills and responsibilities.
Candidates who would need to travel from outside of the area could be compensated for this expense, which can be discussed at interview.
The candidate will need to be able to get themselves to and from the office at our address (LA1 5NA).
The candidate will predominantly be working in the office but will also be asked to work in our warehouses and factory as required.
The candidate needs to have good communication skills and an ability to get on with a wide range of different people.
We recognise that you may not be 100% clear on what you want from your future career, and you may not have a lot of experience in business administration.
