The successful candidate will be given full study support to fulfil their potential and become a qualified accountant (qualifying first with AAT and subsequently with either ACCA or ICAEW).

Specific duties of this role include the following:

  • Preparing year end accounts of sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies
  • Assisting more senior members when auditing financial statements
  • Performing bookkeeping duties for clients
  • Preparing quarterly VAT returns
  • Liaising with clients to request missing information or in supplying information they require
  • Other ad-hoc duties to assist senior team members and clients as necessary

Desired qualifications

GCSEs at grades C/4 or above (or equivalent) in maths and English.

It would be desirable (but not essential) to have a relevant A-Level or equivalent (e.g. maths, Business, Accounting etc.)

Although the position is initially for a trainee, we provide on the job training and full study support so that you can fulfil your potential. 

There is no limit to the opportunities within our firm – two of our directors initially started as apprentices themselves!
