1 day a week, in-house training - leading to Hair Professional Externally Examined Practical Course, which has replaced the NVQ Level 2 and raised the qualification standard. Salon experience - including greeting client's, shampoo clients hair, keeping salon tidy. This will lead to assisting Creative Team with photographic and stage work.

Requirements and prospects
- The successful candidate will have good communication and customer service skills
- The successful candidate will be friendly and well presented, they will be team-oriented and passionate about hair
- They will be self motivated and will to learn
No previous qualifications are necessary for this role.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity in becoming a qualified hairdresser at Mahogany Hairdressing. They also have the possibility of joining the Mahogany Creative Team on their many Stage Shows, Photographic and DVD Shoots.
Things to consider
Apprentices are paid for their normal working hours and training that’s part of their apprenticeship (usually one day per week).
