This role is designed specifically to give a full and comprehensive understanding of the workings of a very busy kitchen.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Working within both kitchens doing varied and daily menus
  • Getting involved in supplier visits
  • Help in all aspects of delivery

Time will be allocated by our experienced team of chefs to ensure that the role evolves with the candidates improvement and that roles remain challenging and rewarding.

Things to consider

The kitchen environment is hard work, but it is the very nature of the environment that makes it incredibly rewarding. Working within a strong team and being proud of the results will make it even better.

Also consider travel to and from the workplace/college.

Apprentices are paid for their normal working hours and training that's part of their apprenticeship (usually one day per week).
