This is an excellent opportunity to gain knowledge and experience in warehousing in the textile industry. The successful candidate will undertake day-to-day running of the warehouse/workshop with focus in key areas such as stock control, checking and receiving deliveries, measuring, and cutting textiles for bedding.

Duties will include:
- Measuring and cutting textiles for bedding
- Folding and packing of finished products
- Picking and dispatch of orders
- Checking and receiving deliveries
- Stock control
- Admin duties
Requirements and prospects
- Excellent timekeeping skills
- Ability to complete basic admin tasks (such as recording stock etc.)
- Hard working
- Ability to work to deadlines
- Good grasp of basic maths
- Willing to learn
- Basic level of fitness (this is a physical job)
GCSEs at grades C/4 or above (or equivalent) in maths and English.
For the right candidate there is opportunity to progress within the company. We are looking for forward thinkers who can look to make improvements to our IT stock and delivery system. Health & Safety and first aid courses are also available for the right candidate.
Things to consider
This job is a physical job, sometimes lifting fabric and spending most of the time on your feet.
Apprentices are paid for their normal working hours and training that's part of their apprenticeship (usually one day per week).
