Duties to include:

  • Apprentice will work closely with the design and editorial team, helping with all social media accounts, and digital activity
  •  Working as part of a small team
  • Uploading content to live websites
  • Optimising existing content for better search engine visibility
  • Managing and updating Social Media accounts, responding to comments and requests
  • Checking websites for outdated content and improvement opportunities
  • Content promotion including Social Media and Link Building
  • Producing various promotional material
  • Supporting the graphic design of websites

Requirements and prospects

Desired skills

  • The ideal candidate would have excellent IT and on-line navigation skills with prior knowledge of social media, web design and search engine optimisation
  • Ability to work as part of a small team
  • Must have good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Be well organised and able to prioritise

Personal qualities

  • The candidate would have a willingness to be trained and developed, yet have the ability to use their own initiative
  • They must be hard working and reliable with enthusiasm to do well
  • The ideal candidate must have a passion for building solid partnerships with customers and appreciate the value of collaborative working

Desired qualifications

  • The candidate must have GCSE or equivalents in English at grade 9 - 4 (A*-C), GCSE maths or equivalents in at grade 9 - 4 (A*-C)
  • IT qualification is desirable
