Duties will include:
- Scanning and filing of invoices
- Preparing weekly paperwork for the field of engineers
- Working on reception - greeting visitors and answering the telephone
Requirements and prospects
- Excellent communication both written and spoken
- Good organisation skills
- Good timekeeping skills
- Good numeracy and literacy skills
- Confident in communicating both face to face and over the telephone
- Hard working
- An interest in finance or accounts
- Ability to work to deadlines
GCSEs at grades C/4 or above (or equivalent) in maths and English.
The role will have plenty of opportunities within the company to learn various aspects of the business.
Things to consider
The office is based on an industrial estate in Rossendale, therefore someone with their own transport would be beneficial.
Apprentices are paid for their normal working hours and training that's part of their apprenticeship (usually one day per week)

We work closely with architects, developers, and the mechanical and electrical market on new build projects, incorporating our advanced fire sprinkler systems with passive measures, alarms, ventilation, water engineering and smoke detection.
Our range of fire sprinklers and fire suppression systems can also be fitted into existing property. Our senior team and design engineers have a vast experience of the residential fire protection market, in our time pioneering initiatives which are now best practice.
From initial enquiry, through to estimating and onto design, our people will give you candid help and advice, and draw upon both extensive site and industry experience as well as the latest knowledge in Building Services Engineering and Fire Engineering.
As well as evaluating which fire suppression systems may be appropriate, we will advise on meeting building, water, and fire regulations. When you have chosen a system, we will hydraulically design it specifically for your property.
Our site teams are supervised by similarly experienced engineers.
