Production Chef Apprentice THE DELI COUNTER (LEADGATE) LTD
The Deli Counter are happy to expand their team and are looking for an Apprentice Production Chef. The Apprentice will be required to support a very busy team based in the village of Leadgate, sitting in the outskirts of Consett.

Apprentices are paid for their normal working hours and training that's part of their apprenticeship (usually one day per week).

The Deli Counter opened its doors in 2017 in Leadgate, County Durham and since then have served home cooked, quality food at affordable prices to returning customers on a daily basis, whether they want to sit in or take away. They are delighted to offer 1 position for a Production Chef Apprentice to join the team.

- Complete menu specifications
- Preparing food
- Assist the chef
- Oversee food supplies
- Cleaning of kitchen surfaces
- Any other duties applicable to the role
Requirements and prospects
- Attention to detail
- Importance of sustainability
- The ability to work effectively as part of a very busy team and also on your initiative
- Out-going personality
3 GCSEs including maths and English at grades 3/D or above (or equivalent).
To become fully qualified to Level 2 with a prospect to becoming a fully qualified production chef and the possibility of a full time job.
