Gain an overall understanding of J T Dove to enable you to maximise profitable sales, margin and provide an efficient, proactive service to customers and colleagues in the Plumbing and Heating Department:

  • Provide a standard of service that reflects the company corporate image
  • Ensure customers are attended to with an efficient and courteous service in accordance with our customer charter
  • Interpret customer needs accurately
  • Respond quickly and efficiently to all sales enquiries
  • Assist Branch Account Managers in their efforts to increase market share and strengthen customer relationships
  • Attain and improve upon agreed sales and margin targets
  • Sell the full range of products
  • Assist with maintaining stock level targets
  • Carry out joint visits with the Branch Account Manager and supplier representatives
  • Keep abreast of new products and developments
  • Assist in the operational environment of warehousing and transportation
  • Ensure compliance to the company’s policies
  • Attend external training programs as identified from time to time
  • Comply with all reasonable requests
