Barbering / Hairdressing Apprentice The Barbers of Bovingdon Ltd
Salon assistant, available for somebody keen to learn hairdressing and or barbering on an apprenticeship. Daily jobs will include tending to clients, keeping the salon clean and tidy, learning whilst watching and asking questions. During Covid times, the apprentice will be working on a 1-1 basis with a stylist which is great for learning.

Apprentices are paid for their normal working hours and training that's part of their apprenticeship (usually one day per week).

Level 2 (GCSE)
Salon assistant, available for somebody keen to learn hairdressing and or barbering on an apprenticeship.
Daily Duties will include:
- Tending to clients
- Keeping the salon clean and tidy
- Learning whilst watching and asking questions
During Covid times, the apprentice will be working on a 1-1 basis with a stylist which is great for learning.
Learning time will depend on either the Barbering (12 Months or Hairdressing Level 2 (24 months)
Requirements and prospects
- Basic salon skills - washing hair
- Blow drying
- Applying toners
- Cleaning skills
- Excellent customer rapport
Preferable to have GCSE C/4 or equivalent in English and maths.
Stylist position available, including further learning with UKTD in salon.
