This new, modern, and forward-thinking coffee house is looking for an individual who can work largely unsupervised to manage and deliver outstanding coffee and customer services.

Designed to rejuvenate the local community and based in Dewsbury Station, they are preparing for opening after lockdown, and the busy footfall of customers that pass their establishment.

Open between 06:30 and 16:30, your working hours will be spread over 6 days approximately 40 hours per week and you will be responsible for making and serving coffees and pastries and other takeaway items, managing money, ordering stock, and opening and closing up.

Day to day duties:

  • Food preparation
  • Delivery of excellent customer service at all times
  • Taking food and drink orders
  • Preparing and serving hot beverages
  • Preparing and checking bills and receiving payment
  • Maintaining a safe, hygienic, and secure working environment
  • Assisting with all preparations and delivery of day to day service
  • Assisting with stock control and deliveries

Upon successful completion of their apprenticeship the right candidate will be offered further development.

Desired qualifications

GCSEs at grades E/2 or above (or equivalent) in maths and English.

If you have Level 2 NVQ food hygiene and safety (or equivalent) would be beneficial.

Future prospects

Upon successful completion of their apprenticeship the right candidate will be offered further development with potential to access a management role. Ongoing training such as manual handling will be provided.
