Duties to include:

  • To serve all our customers in a friendly, polite and efficient manner
  • To practice high standards of customer care at all times and to advise Management immediately of any customer complaints
  • To comply with all company Health, Safety, Fire and Hygiene policies, taking care of personal safety and also that of members of your team, customers and visitors to the unit
  • Maintaining high standards of housekeeping, including cleaning of equipment, fixtures and fittings, surfaces and working to cleaning schedules
  • Knowing what promotions are on offer and updating personal knowledge of products and menu content
  • Attending any training organised by your Manager which may be outside your normal working hours
  • Working within the customer seating areas, clearing and cleaning tables, helping customers when required and ensuring there is a sufficient supply of crockery and cutlery
  • To work within the wash-up area including using the dishwasher, while maintaining hygiene and safety standards by keeping equipment clean, stored correctly and available for use
  • Recording all payments accurately on the till, handling cash and ensuring correct operation of till procedures
  • Liaise with Management and your colleagues ensuring tasks are carried out efficiently
  • To adhere to the company dress policy to ensure that the unit portrays the correct image
  • To carry out other duties as instructed by the Management Team including the requirement to work additional shifts to cover holidays and sickness
  • To carry out any other duties as required by the business that may not be directly associated with your job function
