The role of the Business Administrator will carry out the below responsibilities. These are an example of responsibilities and these may change depending on the needs of the business.

  • Work closely with the MD and be responsible for diarising company meetings
  • Responsible for taking and communicating minutes from meetings
  • Ordering office fruit and stationery as required
  • Sourcing and ordering company uniform/hi-vis vests
  • Working closely with finance team to process invoices
  • Use the CRM system to process customer orders/invoices
  • General office duties
  • Answer the phone and transfer calls to relevant members of the team
  • Use Webex system for our fuel cards and van trackers
  • Creating and producing spreadsheets, word documents as necessary
  • Responsible for filing (hard copies and online)
  • Communicating with engineers
  • Booking hotels
  • Working with the Operations Manager to collate and process new starter documents
  • Liaising with our IT support to help overcome any IT issues

  • Able to work with minimum supervision to tight deadlines and across different aspects of the role, on a rota basis
  • Good general system skills, Microsoft Word/Excel/Outlook
