Goldsmith Bowers Solicitors are looking for a Customer Service / Legal Debt Recovery Administration Apprentice to work in our Bradford city centre office. The apprentice will learn all aspects of Customer Service and office administration duties with an emphasis on the legal debt recovery business.
The apprentice will work with and assist a Senior Legal & Enforcement Litigation Executive who is responsible for collecting money through legal processes for high profile commercial clients.
The Apprentice will learn all aspects of the debt recovery role and assist with administration tasks.
The right candidate after training and once confident will assist with:
- Writing legal letters
- Making collection telephone calls
- Issuing legal proceedings and enforcement action
It is hoped that an apprentice will progress to the role of assistant legal and enforcement officer following completion of the apprenticeship.

Desired qualifications
GCSEs at grades C/4 or above (or equivalent) in maths and English.
GCSE at grades C/4 or above (or equivalent) in ICT is preferred.
Future prospects
The business had ambitions to grow rapidly and intend to create a long-term talent pool and staff recruitment policy from apprentices. Prospects to progress are very good and there may also be opportunities in the IT and digital marketing departments.
Things to consider
The individual needs to be aware that initially there will be a number of repeated and mundane tasks that will have to be completed in order to gain knowledge and confidence in the role, however once competent and trusted the individual will be given more responsibility and the opportunity to assist with legal work.
