As a ecommerce apprentice, you will be responsible for writing creative product descriptions and editing imagery for adverts on eBay, Amazon and our own websites, using market research and SEO to reach a wider audience. There will also be the opportunity within this role to create website banners and blog posts for the company website.

Working for a company that sells an exciting range of products, from fancy dress items to pet products, gadgets and gizmo’s. The candidate will have to be flexible in their approach to writing content.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Writing creative product descriptions
  • Listing Adverts for a range of products
  • Create eye catching posts and content for social media platforms and blogs
  • Photographing products
  • Offer suggestions and ideas on how to improve customer reach, product ideas and sales.
  • Aid in the launch of new pet products website
  • Editing imagery for multiple platforms
  • Using SEO to reach wider audiences
  • Liaise with staff regarding content to promote
  • Updating existing listings to drive sales

An apprenticeship is an on the job learning programme that allows you, the apprentice, to earn a wage, gain valuable work experience and industry specific competence. You will be expected to work towards theory elements in addition to putting the theory into practice.
