Reporting to the Manager.

Duties will include:

  • Prepare work areas
  • Prepare equipment for daily service
  • Stock take on materials and ingredients
  • Assist with preparation of menu items - hot and cold food to service times
  • Pot washing
  • End of service housekeeping
  • Attend team meetings
  • Attend in-house and college supported training events

Things to consider

The kitchen environment can be challenging, fast-paced and hot - candidates should be aware of this when applying.

A traditional local pub right in the city centre, serving home made locally sourced food and some of the best chips around. 

Apprentices are paid for their normal working hours and training that's part of their apprenticeship (usually one day per week).
