Debtcol is a leading highly regarded, forward thinking and growing commercial debt recovery company, based in Whiteley, Fareham. We require an apprentice to join our successful collections team.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • General office administration
  • Using the company’s case Management System - Setting up and closing files
  • Send T’s & C’s to new clients
  • Keeping client reports, archive and client lists up to date
  • Allocating incoming post
  • Photocopying
  • Answering the telephone
  • Dealing with email correspondence
  • Filing
  • Processing incoming and outgoing payments
  • Basic chasing of regular payers

This role would suit an analytical and conscientious team player, with excellent written and verbal communication skills and present a genuine opportunity to progress a career in legal collections.

Desired qualifications

For this level Apprenticeship GCSE 4/C or above or equivalent in maths and English is requested, with an ICT qualification considered an advantage, however all applicants will be considered on merit subject to initial assessment against the challenging academic requirements of the standard.

Confident application of English is critical to this role.

The successful candidate will undertake:

  • Business Administration Level 3 standard Apprenticeship, including both on and off the job training

Business Plus at Fareham College will carry out the training. We are an Ofsted rated Outstanding College.

Time at College will cover bespoke off the job training to meet the need of the standard delivered at the College site and regular visits and support from the Professional Coach at the workplace.
