An all-encompassing warehouse role. Warehouse Operatives work in a variety of warehouse environments. Work includes taking deliveries, storing goods, moving stock by various methods, picking/packing orders and loading goods for dispatch. Significant emphasis will be placed upon scientific glassblowing but plastics and ceramics will also feature.

- Receiving goods
- Storing goods
- Warehouse management and housekeeping
- Order picking
- Order despatch
Significant emphasis will be placed upon scientific glassblowing, but plastics and ceramics will also feature.

Supply Chain Warehouse Operative intermediate standard.
The candidate will complete an apprenticeship within the agreed subject for the vacancy. This may include a BTEC Diploma/Standard and End Point Assessment. It may also include Functional Skills in maths, English and ICT.
This will be delivered by Weir Training Limited.
Training in the warehouse will be provided by Smith Scientific.
