We are an established, busy practice and would like to support an apprentice to join our team. The right applicant has to be motivated and enthusiastic to work with all domestic animals.
The right applicant duties will include (but not be limited to):
- Helping on reception
- Assisting the Vet with handling animals
- Preparing the surgery before any procedure
Whilst working, the applicant will also be studying towards the Level 2 animal Welfare Care Assistant Apprenticeship Standard.
We are looking for an apprentice to work 30 hours per week and be local to our shop based in Colne.
We expect a lot of applicants towards this role, so please only apply if you are passionate about animals and would like a career in this industry.
The candidate must be confident and enthusiastic working with animals. 20% of the Apprentice's working week will be spent off the job training.
