Trade Supplier/Parts Apprentice Malpas Tractors

You will be working towards a recognised qualification, in which you will be expected to attend college on block release. You will be working for Malpas Tractors and working with other machines to support both the customer base and engineers in the workshop. You will be communicating with customers daily.

    Monday - Friday, 08:00 - 17:00. Hours are worked out according to a department rota, but there will be the expectation of varying hours, and also overtime. During harvest, rotas may include weekend work and evening work up to 19:00.

Duties will include:

  • Checking incoming goods

Desired qualifications

The entry requirements for this programme are – GCSEs at grades D/3 or above (or equivalent) in maths and English are preferable, however not essential as functional skills are offered to upskill as part of the programme.

Off-the-job training must make up at least 20% of the apprentice’s contracted hours, over the total duration of the apprentice’s planned training period.

Apprentices are paid for their normal working hours and training that's part of their apprenticeship (usually one day per week).
