Working week
Monday - Friday (shift patterns between 7am and 10pm) and there will be a requirement to work every other weekend. Pay rates will be higher than NMW for apprentices and weekend shifts will be at a higher rate and will be confirmed at interview.

In line with an individual's care and support some of the main responsibilities could include:
- Assist with their activities of daily living e.g. getting up in the morning, going to bed at night, dressing, undressing, washing, bathing and toilet arrangements
- Assist service users to overcome any mobility problems and any other physical disabilities, include helping in the use and care of aids and personal equipment
- Assist with making a person physically comfortable e.g. making and changing beds, tidying rooms, emptying commodes, laundry and possible light cleaning
- Assist with eating and drinking by preparing meals, snacks and drinks and helping service users to eat and drink if they cannot or have difficulty in doing this themselves

- Sensitive to the needs of others and to the needs of vulnerable persons
- An understanding of the company role within the Care/Support sector would be helpful
- An active team player but who can also work under own initiative
Desired qualifications
- Good level of education in maths/English (GCSE C/4 or equivalent preferred)
- Previous experience or qualification in the Care sector would be an advantage but full training will be given
Future prospects
Possibility of progression into full time employment position or available progression opportunities on successful completion of Level 2.
Things to consider
Qualification will require regular College attendance to complete off the job training requirements (one full day every two weeks but current training will be completed remotely until lockdown restrictions are lifted) and training centre is based in Redruth close to employer address.
- A full DBS check will be necessary for successful applicant
- A clean driving licence with access to own car would be beneficial
