This apprenticeship position is for a inputter/administration assistant, based in our showroom at Sawbridgeworth.

The position will involve:

  • Ensuring all administration is completed correctly
  • Dealing with customers on the telephone and in the showroom
  • Inputting/updating data on the website
  •  Responsible for the ordering/sending and tracking the samples
  • Keeping the shipping information up to date of all orders
  • Keeping the show room clean and tidy and organising all of the samples on display

Requirements and prospects

Desired skills

  • The role calls for good basic IT skills and basic maths ability
  • Clear spoken English; good listening and customer conversation skills are important to this role

Personal qualities

  • Punctual and smart
  • You will be polite on the phone, as you will be dealing with numerous incoming enquiries from customers
  • Willing to work well and give good effort in all tasks

Desired qualifications

Maths and English GCSE grade C/4, above or equivalent.

Future prospects

Potential offered for a full-time job after completion of apprenticeship.

Things to consider

You will be working in a smart sales office and will need to present yourself well to customers in person and over the telephone. Regular use of a PC and telephone is part of the role.
