  • Assembly and dispensing of medicines
  • Handing out dispensed medicines
  • Ordering stock and putting to shelf
  • Responding to telephone and face to face enquiries as appropriate

About the employer

Haxby Group Pharmacy was formed in 2010 and is a partnership between Haxby Group Practice and experienced local pharmacist, Richard Harrison. It offers a new level of service and accessibility on the site of Haxby and Wigginton Health Centre. Our overarching principle is to provide a caring and patient focused service to the local community. Our aims are to provide a prescription service that will be patient focused and to guarantee quick and accurate dispensing of prescriptions.

Pharmacy Services Assistant Level 2 Apprenticeship Standard:

  • Apprentices will be required to produce work and build an e-portfolio of evidence through blended learning which will include practical and written knowledge assessments which are carried out in the workplace, there will be an (EPA) end point assessment at the end of the apprenticeship
