Duties and responsibilities to include:

  • Under the direction and supervision of qualified staff, assist in the delivery of nursery activities
  • Set up displays and activities
  • Attend to pupils’ personal needs including minor first aid
  • Establish relationships with parents and/or carers
  • Assist other staff with the assessment procedures to ensure children’s progress is satisfactory
  • Maintain a recording system for individual children
