Duties/responsibilities to include:
- Speaking with people who come into the surgery
- Working on the telephone
- Producing prescriptions to customers electronically
- Writing letters and e-mails to patients regarding test results, etc.
- Assisting the secretary
- Front of house - must be presentable, mature, have strong communication skills, be able to work in a busy environment as over 100 customers come through the door
- You will be provided with relevant training on the e-platform

About the employer
Churchtown Medical Centre is a six partner practice with a patient list size of approximately 11,920 and is open 6 days a week The practice has 6 GP partners, employs occasional part time locum GP’s, 3 part time practice nurses, 1 healthcare assistant and 14 non-clinical administration and reception staff.
We offer a full general practice service and also run specialist clinics for Diabetes, Coronary Heart Disease, Asthma and Minor Surgery. We offer twice weekly antenatal sessions run by a designated midwives team, monthly dietetics clinics run by the community dietician, and weekly baby clinics run by the health visitors.
The practice has excellent consulting rooms, offices and also has an upper floor which houses conference/meeting rooms and a training/lecture theatre.
