Apprentice Engineering Design Draughtsperson Barnfield Engineering Services Ltd
The apprentice would be involved in carrying out site surveys, producing survey drawings 2D/3D and working drawings, produce fabrication drawings, liaise/place orders with suppliers, document control, assist Project Managers.

Duties will include:
- Carry out site surveys
- Produce survey drawings 2D/3D (We currently use AutoCAD)
- Produce working drawings (General Arrangement and Proposal Drawings) 2D/3D
- Produce fabrication drawings
- Liaise/place orders with suppliers
- Document control
- Assist project managers at design level
- Liaise/communicate with fabrication team
Requirements and prospects
- Some knowledge/experience of CAD
- Good communicator
- Able to manage your time
- Excellent attention to detail
- Team player
- Able to use initiave
Maths and English GCSE grade 4/C or above.
Ongoing training and progression is encouraged.
Things to consider
Due to the location a car/motorbike/moped would be ideal.
