This vacancy is advertised by the Training Trust on behalf of Tamba. You will attend the Training Trust one day per week for your college work.

  • Providing a high standard of physical, emotional, social and intellectual care for the babies and children placed in our setting
  • Working alongside parents/carers as well as the room leader
  • As an Apprentice, you would be expected to diligently attend your training course, completing assessments and examinations in order to achieve the required standard in your studies and assessments
  • You will be planning and setting up activities for the children

About the employer

Tamba, Beckton is situated in a purpose built building offering childcare facilities for children aged from 3 months to 8 years and holds a capacity for 50 children across all ages. All rooms are spacious, light, airy and decorated minimalistic to create a calming atmosphere. Although rooms are decorated with children’s creations & displays. The rooms have been created to enhance children’s independence and all resources are at children’s access and sinks, toilets etc are designed to allow children to be independent.
