We are opening Little Me preschool in January at Bray and Maidenhead cricket club, it provides a wonderful outdoor space for children aged 2-4. We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who is passionate about working with children and enjoys helping them learn and develop.

    Wages explained

    The current National Minimum Wage for an apprentice is £3.50 an hour. This rate applies to apprentices under 19 and those aged 19 or over who are in their first year.
    Apprentices must be paid at least the minimum wage rate for their age if they are aged 19 or over and have completed their first year.
    The minimum wage rates are £5.60 an hour for 18-20 year olds and £7.05 for anyone aged 21 and over.
    Apprentices are paid for their normal working hours and training that’s part of their apprenticeship (usually one day per week).

Duties will include:

  • To maintain a caring and professional attitude towards children, parents and staff.
  • To work closely with the Team.
  • To maintain confidentiality at all times both in the workplace and college.
  • Supervising the children’s play both inside and outside.
  • Provide experiences and opportunities for the children in line with EYFS.
  • To maintain and comply with all the relevant standards of health & safety both in college and workplace.
  • To adhere to the council and nursery policies on equal opportunities, diversity and inclusion.
