Things to consider

You will be working outside and often at weekends.  Working with horses can be physically demanding so a level of fitness is required.

The hours of work will be agreed with the employer and the weekly pay will be in accordance with the hours worked. You may be asked to start early e.g. 7.00am or finish late e.g. 7.00pm and some weekend work being involved, but this will be agreed with the employer

Situated on the outskirts of Sheffield, only 4 miles from Sheffield City Centre, Smeltings Farm sits amongst 35 acres overlooking the picturesque Mayfield Valley and is just 1/4 mile from the Peak District National Park. The Centre is British Horse Society and Association of British Riding Schools Approved and delivers comprehensive training in equestrian riding and management. With professional staff and good quality facilities we endevour to ensure that we provide a good quality service to our riding school and livery clients, whilst maintaining a welcoming family run atmosphere. As a result a high percentage of our business is from repeat customers and referrals.
