We are searching for an IT Apprentice to join our growing team. This is a very broad role that will offer you the opportunity to be involved in many areas of the business and gain experience in a variety of tasks. While carrying out day to day system administration tasks, you will also be offered the opportunity to be involved in prototype hardware and software development and electronics based tasks. You will be offered support and training from experienced industry professionals throughout with the potential to accumulate more responsibility as you progress within the company.

Key accountabilities:

  • Supporting a network of around 30 computers
  • Day to day system admin tasks
  • New user PC builds
  • Software testing
  • Hardware testing
  • Server maintenance

Training provider

The Estio Training IT Apprenticeship programme gives people the opportunity to get hands on experience in the IT industry whilst still employed in a real paid job with no cost or debt.

Learners will receive twelve weeks of intensive training. Whilst in the workplace, apprentices will also receive continual assessment, and help and guidance from a dedicated trainer who will be there to ensure that they get the most from their work experience. 

Training will lead to industry-recognised qualifications including: 

  • Advanced apprenticeship for IT, Software, Web and Telecoms Professionals 
  • Level 3 Diploma in Professional 
  • Competence for IT and Telecoms Professionals 
  • BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in ICT Systems and Principles

  • PLTS and ERR
