Things to consider

Childcare is a very demanding industry with long hours and early starts. It requires you to be active and on your feet the majority of the day. It is also a very rewarding job as you will have an invaluable impact of the development of the children.

About the employer

At the Cricket Nursery, Welsh Congregational Church, Lower Road, Harrow your children's needs are well catered for with the aid of carefully chosen Montessori equipment and EYFS framework. The Montessori method is an indirect teaching method because it neither imposes on the child nor does it abandon him or her in total free play. Instead it provides a carefully planned and structured environment in which children can grow and learn in a natural way with the best possible opportunities for reaching their potential. Using the EYFS framework gudelines provides an introduction to such subject areas as geography, French, science, mathematics, reading and writing. Girls and boys will be admitted to the Cricket Nursery between the ages of 2 and 5 years. A uniform is available and may be purchased from the school shop.
