We are looking for a person whom enjoys creating fun and exciting activities for children from reception to year 6

The current National Minimum Wage for an apprentice is £3.50 an hour. This rate applies to apprentices under 19 and those aged 19 or over who are in their first year.
Apprentices must be paid at least the minimum wage rate for their age if they are aged 19 or over and have completed their first year.
The minimum wage rates are £5.60 an hour for 18-20 year olds and £7.05 for anyone aged 21 and over.
Apprentices are paid for their normal working hours and training that’s part of their apprenticeship (usually one day per week).

Intermediate Level Apprenticeship
You will work alongside other like minded people as part of a team to support children In breakfast (7:30-9:00) and in after school club mon-thur 2:50-6:30 and fri 1:50-6:30
Supporting children through play, ensuring each child has the option of being involved in an activity.
Setting out tables and chairs for the children to sit down
Setting out activities
Helping to prepare light snacks ie sandwiches, wraps, cutting up fruit ect
Opening the door to parents
Collecting children from school and school clubs
Light cleaning of the hall, kitcken and bathroom areas
Requirements and prospects
Anything that can be used to encourage and engage the attention of a range of children from different ages and backgrounds
Good time keeping
Can take direction but has initiative
Good standard of Math's and English

You will be assigned to an assessor for the duration of your course. Your assessor will guide you, set your work, mark all your work and help you with anything you need. At the end of your training you will achieve a diploma in Early Years that is a recognised qualification in the childcare sector.
As part of your training you will cover ERR unit, Technical certificate and functional skills in Maths English and ICT. You will gain a childcare qualification at either level 2 or 3.
